Making an awareness campaign through a visual design.

There are a lot of beautiful cases solved with an awarness campaign. It's a super strong way to get attention from people in an - most often - emotional way. It was super interesting to design for this project because it's such a different of making an UI for an app for instance.

I've had a lot of different ideas, but because of a Tony Chocolonely advertistment I was back then, I was super interested in telling the story of working kids for our food. Expecially in the cocoa industry.

I wanted to tell the story of us picking food so easily out of the supermarket without even think about the background of the food and where it came from. With this poster (the right one is the final version) I want people to know that their choice - of buying fairtrade for example - is important.

Final Result

It was really interesting to design in such a way that you really have to bring a message behind the visual you make. It was all about storytelling and doing this on the right way. We've also learned a lot of theory about important principles in the visual world. Super interesting and helpfull for the future.
